My latest album, celebrating the beautiful area of Coquetdale in which I am fortunate enough to have been born and bred, and other places of interest I have visited. This album contains four songs sung by the fantastic singer, Laura Brown, including my personal favourite, THOSE BONNIE HILLS OF SIMONSIDE, which can also be heard by clicking here. There are some haunting instrumental piano tracks; the emotionally-charged WHERE ACORNS GROW is worth a listen! A SONG TO THE COQUET was originally a poem written by John Harbottle of Newcastle in the 19th Century. I have set it to music for this album and Laura sings it beautifully.
