Instrumental Pieces Available for Recording

On this page are six examples of my instrumental work, demonstrating my versatility as a composer. As with my songs, I am interested in working with artists to record and develop my works, which could potentially be used for film, television, theatre, dance, etc. All are PRS registered and I retain the copyright in these compositions but am open to discussing recording and licensing opportunities. 1. Cowpen Road Rag- a popular ragtime tune, once played on BBC introducing. Score available in piano book. 
2. Ad Excelsum Scholae- A jolly, classical piece originally called "off to big school", I decided to give this the more sophisticated Latin title. Score available in piano book.
3. Linden Leaves- this was a commissioned work for a wedding anniversary celebration for a Northumbrian couple.
4. The Long Journey Home- this tune came to me in a dream after playing in McKay's bar in Pitlochry one summer evening in 2011. This version was recorded by renowned Scottish musician Paul Capaldi.
5. Hepple Fields- a popular melody inspired by the beauty of rural Northumberland. This melody was also recorded by Paul Capaldi and ended up being a wedding present for a local couple on a vinyl disc.
6. The New Settee- a fun, folky little polka recorded by well-known Northumbrian fiddler Roddy Matthews.
